Obama attends small DC fundraiser (AP)

WASHINGTON ? President Barack Obama is attending a $45,000-per person fundraiser near the White House, with no media allowed.

Democratic officials say about 20 people were at the campaign event.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest says the "roundtable discussion" was closed to journalists because Obama did not plan formal remarks.
