Almost two months after suffering a life-threatening heart attack, Cumberland Coun. Stephen Blais is out of intensive care.
For the first time since having the Jan. 7 attack, Blais took to his Twitter account to announce the good news from the hospital.
?Out of the CCU and in a regular room ? thx to all nurses who took such good care of me ? so fortunate to have Heart Institute in #ottcity,? tweeted Blais.
Blais suffered the attack at the Place d?Orl?ans GoodLife Fitness gym. Not long after that, he got a serious case pneumonia, which lengthened his stay in intensive care.
There?s no word on when he may be well enough to return to work.
