In married life, a spouse is a person who brings out the best in you. It is not the case that either of the couple is a perfect person, but the married life makes the couple believe that they may not be perfect humans, but they are perfect for each other.
However due to change in social setup and economic conditions affecting our life, the Institution of marriage is going through a major change. In present time more and more couples choose not to marry, but they desire to have long-term relationships without marriage. Thus they live together without being married and cohabitate just like spouses. This arrangement is termed as ?Live-in Relationship?.
The newly found system of Live-in Relationship is subjected to social denial from some sections, too. Mainly the protests come from the religious groups. There are people who still believe the ?out of marriage? sex as sin. In addition to this orthodox section of society, some of the feminists groups also believe that this system is one type of exploitation of the women.
With the increase of the people preferring live-in relationship, in many countries the courts are considering it as a virtual marriage. It helps the partners in case of death, legacy or issued of certain rights when they decide to live separate.
The emergence of system of live-in relationship is not a sudden one. It has certain reasons to be here; it has some concrete bases to survive and flourish in the present time. The persons attached in live-in relationship faces mainly the similar problems, which the married men and women couple face.
